Greeting From Premier Dalton McGuinty

On behalf of the Government of Ontario,
I am delighted to extend warm greetings to everyone attending
the Russian Gala Ball, hosted by the Russian-Canadian Cultural Heritage
Foundation and the Russian-Canadian Cultural Aid Society.
In Ontario, we are very fortunate to be able to draw
on the rich cultural diversity that defines and strengthens our communities.
We are proud of the many contributions Russian Canadians have made to the social, economic and cultural fabric of our province.
I commend the Russian-Canadian
Cultural Heritage Foundation and the Russian-Canadian Cultural Aid Society for keeping Russian Canadians connected to their heritage and for giving members the opportunity to take part in cultural and charitable activities. I would also like to extend my thanks to the
dedicated organizers and volunteers who have given time and energy to making this event possible.
Please accept my sincere best wishes for a memorable and enjoyable ball.

The Russian-Canadian Cultural Aid Society (RCCAS) was founded in 1950 as a non profit organization. It is run entirely by volunteers. The Society's mission is to promote and maintain rich Russian cultural traditions and help new immigrants integrate into the Canadian way of life.
